I've just started learning how to shoot a bow and really enjoy it. I would like to get a bow I can use to practice and, if I get good enough, one day hunt with. I'm about to start medical school so I'm looking to save money and whatever I get will have last at least four years. I've seen new bows I can afford but have no idea if they are workable for what I want or if they will get me in bad habits that will hurt when I can afford a better bow. I've been to the local bow shop and they said I'm looking at $600-$700 for a decent bow. That's not something I can spend on a bow right now. I could probably do $250-$300 but much more than that will be difficult. Any suggestions on options or should I resign myself to waiting until I graduate to take up bow hunting? Thanks!
