Well after installing my new STS string suppressor (http://forums.bowhunting.com/showthread.php?t=19272) my bow does not fit width wise in the case anymore due to the stabilizer being extended out further.

I need more width and prefer hard cases. I like to be able to throw the case in the back of the truck and not worry about anything getting bumped.

Any suggestions? Keep in mind, I'm on a budget.

    I currently have this case:

Blacks Creek makes some sweet bow cases... that is what I am leaning towards this year.

Neal is correct, there are also a few others that you may check out... The Pro44 by Plano is a pretty roomy hard case. I wouldn't put it on an airplane but it'll ride in the truck nicely.

In '05 I actually lost a bow out of the back of the truck (very long story) and it was in this case. No damage done to the bow or the case....

SKB are on the pricey side, but IMO are a good investment.

Mine have been lots of places and always perform up to expectations. :)

If I fly with a hunting partner, I use my SKB double bow case. Thing is a tank and weighs 33 lbs alone, lol.

If I fly solo, I pack my bow into the bottom of a rolling duffle bag with a zip out drop bottom storage compartment. Protects the bow perfectly, no destruction from anti hunters working at the airport, no haggling over a weapons case, and you can fly your gear, clothes, and bow all in one bag, saving baggage fees.

If I'm driving down the road to my spot, I have a bow holder that straps onto the back of my truck seat, keeps the bow up out of the way, safe, and no bulky hard case to mess with.

If I'm driving on a roadtrip I have a $30 Plano hard case that does the trick awesome as a truck bed bow case.

Yep that is an option, and there are some pretty neat disconnects if that is an acceptable solution for the OP :)
