Congrats! I just got my best friend into hunting this year and it has been so much fun seeing him learn and get into it. We went out yesterday for opening day and I had a big doe come in on me. Was all ready to shoot and all of a sudden she beds down 30 yards from me! Watched her lay there for 45 mins til she walked off. Never had that happen before. My other friend hit a doe later in the afternoon and we had to track her til 10:30 at night on very little blood. Great learning experience tagging along on a tracking mission for my friend on his first day though. Glad to hear someone in Mass was able to avoid all the yuppies and other hunters long enough to shoot a buck!
