I hunted My "old faithful " stand which sits between the best travel route for deer on my property and 30 yards away is my clover field(which was on fire all weekend.) between the two is riddled with acorns and this is also where my stand sits. I got in stand at two shortly after two nubbins come out and hang out in the acorns for a good half hour before moving into the clover. I noticed my buck cruising the travel rte i mentioned. He was on the wrong side of the fence and had already passed the section of fence they usually jump. I thought he'd b just another story until he saw my two live decoys in the clover. He back tracked, hopped the fence and headed straight for the clover, stopped ten yds from me n i let it fly. Double lung w/rage bh. 50 yds and down! I have this all on film except when i make the shot all u see is the bucks legs. Lesson learned i guess. I made a cam mnt for my bow and was experimenting w that... Lol guess i better keep experimenting
