I was in Illinois hunting from Oct. 29 to Nov. 4, 2015, for the first couple of days the weather was unforgivably hot and deer movement was almost none existing. I was able in the late evenings to see some deer. On November 2nd I went and sat on a tree stand for an afternoon hunt adjacent to a cut corn field and the weather was brutal it was 72 degrees at approximately 4:30 p.m. I saw some does grazing around my location and making their way to the corn field, when suddenly I saw him coming out of the bushes and began walking towards the corn field to meet up with the does. I was able to place a solid shot at 20 yards. He ran about 64 yards and collapse. He is a beautiful big body deer main frame 8 and a excellent representative of the species.
