LOL...I thought about adding in a photo of something along those lines but didn't want to turn this thread political. ;) That famous quote was made right here in Roanoke, where I live. Fun fact of the day.

I am a master of none. Horrible at some decent at others.

I can not do much mechanic or construction wise. If its not changing the oil or a tire its beyond my knowledge. But its because it does not interest me. The things that interest me I'm decent at. I am pretty good at breaking horses, training dogs, handling cattle, hunting.

A couple new things I'm getting into are reloading and setting up/bow maintainence but only because it sparks my interest. As far as electricity goes if its beyond building a hot wire fence I'm lost.

Ouch. That's steep. Oh well, electricity isn't the place to learn on the fly. It can really hurt you.... like dead.

Yeah... or like house fire.. lol. When I built my movie theater the only thing I contracted out was the electrical wiring. Figured, while I could probably figure it out, "probably" just wasn't good enough.

I know nothing about anything. Even less when it comes to cars. But that doesn't stop me from pretending or trying stuff anyway.

I can do almost anything though I do progress more slowly than a pro at all of them. Turns out that my mediocrity at a number of things comes in very handy because I lead mission trips to places like post Katrina New Orleans and I know enough to take on almost anything with confidence and the people I take with me become proficient very quickly.

I don't know much about alot of things, but I think I have a good deal of common sense for a guy my age. I think that allows me to learn and/or become proficient at things that I choose to learn. I've never finished a room, but this fall or next I intend on flooring, insulating, and drywalling my shed (will be my man cave) by myself. Just like Finch, I find that I can really do more than I think with the help of Google.
