Hey Fella's I went away for a week last friday , so i packed my Longow and took time out to meet up with my friend Andy who is a trad shooter too ( he has a Bear Cheyenne and bear T/D ) . We spent half a day walking around his shooting ground and did some stumping practice , i quite surprised myself at how good a shot i am getting . Nearly all shots out to 25yds would have resulted in Definate kills if we were hunting Deer and even Turkey at times , it also gave me a chance to do some range estimation practice . The blunts were flying great , at one point we found a big old bone 4"wide at the knuckle ... i hit it square on at 25yds causing my nock to fly off somewhere , in all i learn't a thing or two off Andy and came back with a little more experience and also killed a couple of mole hills and grass tufts . We're also planning a bowfishin day near his house , he has access to a boat yard platform on Tidal water ( the only water we can legally bowfish ) . When the tide comes in , he says there are plenty of fish to go at . Now i need a reel and arrow , its getting expensive now :d .
Awesome sounds like a good time was had, stumpin is the best practice there is! Next time take some pics will ya??
