5 of us went out stump shooting today In the woods that I hunt. I figured we'd go there In hopes of someone finding some bone, didn't happen which didn't surprise me (I've found 2 sheds In 19 years In this woods)! Anyway the stump shooting was a blast!! I started off terrible (short drawing) but as time went on I was on fire!! I worked on my anchor point the whole time today and man did that pay dividends as the day went on. I was pretty much dead on all the way up to 35 yards!! Today was a very productive day shooting wise and form wise and It's only going to get better.

My form has taking a nose dive the last couple of years and It's time I get It back to what It's suppose to be, I'm getting It back to where It once was and man does It feel good!!:woot:

Alright so I wanted to be cool like Steve and went to the pasture behing my house yesterday evening to shoot around a bit. I was doing pretty hitting the occasional cow chip right in the center and what not. Then I get to the big flat out in the pasture and I get the bright idea........... I wonder how far the arrow will go.......... so I put a big ole arch in the bow and let her rip. I have to admit the arrow went far and I thought I saw where it landed but I searched for 45 min. last night with no luck. I am going back out here in a little bit but I thought some of yall might get a kick out of that. I will tell you one thing, when you shoot those arrows way up in the air you can really see what wind drift is all about LOL.
