I've been using the Bible app on my phone/computer for the last year to read the Bible. I just finished a 21 day plan on leading like Jesus. I decided that my next plan would be a read through the Bible in a year plan. I picked the OWNit365 plan and am going to give it a go. Anyone else want to start with me?

What does the plan do? Is it like reading every night, reading x pages a week? I'm interested

Here is the link to the plan through Bible.com:

    https://www.bible.com/en-GB/reading-plans/33-ownit365

    And here's the description:

The OWNit365.com plan takes you through the entire Bible in one year, with two readings per day, six days per week. The acronym "OWN" represents one daily reading from the Old Testament, along with one from the Wisdom Books or New Testament. Each day's reading is designed to balance both the amount you read as well as provide a section which is easier to understand and apply to your life. Additionally, the publishers of the OWNit365 reading plans have improved your reading experience by providing an OWNit365 app and website complete with videos, experience guides, dinner discussions, and more.

I hold several Bibles in digital format that are handy along with hardcover editions.

The study of Scripture is a Nobel undertaking.

Is it free or so you have to pay for something?

Do you have the option to use an actual bible? I think I am in, I can use either I just know I would like to use a bible some times instead of electronic.

What church do you belong to?

You can use a real bible and check it off. I belong to a Presbyterian church, but I don't identify as Presbyterian. I'm a Christian. I use the electronic one because I always have it on me and if I highlight something it transfers through any device I'm logged in on. It's just simpler for me, personally.

    My church's website is www.littlechurchofthecrossroads.org.

I would love to but I've already got the next book I want to read lined up. Sometime this year I'd love to tackle Revelations, I have a feeling I will need some help from John MacArthur's site, another outstanding resource: Grace to You

I think so. I can post the readings the night before and we can discuss them in the evening if that works. Then people can join in as we go .

Sounds good to me. Might want to make an ownit365 official thread?
