    This may be common knowledge but I just figured it out last season. We hunt mainly green fields clover alfalfa ect. It seems like the gobblers around me spend most of there time in them but later on in the season as the grass gets taller they steer away from them and I had an epiphany I wonder if i mow the field shorter if they will come back and it worked! I went online and read some articles and it said this generally works because they don't like getting their feathers wet so if any of you guys are scratching your heads wondering where the birds went you might want to give it a try:D
