What do you guys feel is the strongest scented food/feed that deer will eat? I have heard sweet feed can be smelled at a better distance, but I wasn't sure if there was something else out there that you thought gave off a odor that deer can smell from farther away then other stuff.

Does peanut butter give off a big odor for deer, or does it make them jittery I wonder with an uncommon smell like that in the area?

I mix a bottle of Monster Raxx Whitetail Magnet in with some corn for added scent.

For a new spot I've poured vanilla extract or apples with corn. But I have also used the Monster Raxx with good results.

When I start a new corn pile I will spread some peanut butter on a nearby tree. Seems to work pretty good. If I am hungry I eat some too.
