PA antler season opens this coming Saturday, so I've been preparing by shooting alot w/ my broadheads. Last night I was making a few final sight tweeks and I stripped the screw that adjusts the vertical movement of the sight housing. Now I'm in a bind b/c I can't find a replacement screw. Anyone ever have this issue or know what size/ type os screw? The sight is a Tru-Glo Apex. I sent Tru Glo an email but haven't heard back and if money wasn't so tight right now I would go buy a new one. Thanks for the help guys.

Beg, borrow, or steal, but get a new one on there! You still have time.

Would it be the same as on a Tru-Glo sight. I have one that all the pins broke but everything is still in working condition screw wise. I will send them to you if you would like.

I had one strip. Thankfully it was the bow store guy who stripped it. What stripped was the nut and not the screw itself although it looked like the screw was stripped on first inspection. You can get the nut anywhwere. You can get the screw also. Mine was the windage too I believe.

soccerdan, Thanks for the offer and I will let you know. I am waiting to hear back from Tru Glo but in the meantime I took it to my local bow shop. They didn't have anything that fit. I've tried several local hardware stores and came out w/ nothing. It seems that the screw has a reverse thread at the end w/ no nut. It just tightens up as its screwed in. Hopefully I hear back from them soon. Thanks for all the input guys.
