How is enacting Constitution rights considered "looking for trouble"? Yes I agree it could be avoided but it's not about avoiding the situation. The LEO got mad and irritated and put his ego ahead of his job. The answer here is, the situation would have been avoided had the LEO not gone off his handle over someone enacting his rights. How can the LEO get mad about someone enacting their rights, REGARDLESS if it's an inconvenience to him or not?

For the second time, I mentioned the public union because taxpayers pay cops, cops pay into the union with that money, the unions funded the reversal of Issue 2, Issue 2 put collective bargaining in place which is fair for both sides. The cops in those unions feel they always deserve more money and refuse to ever take a cut, which translates into their power trip and ego over professionalism, which plays into this video.

Do you also believe the 2nd is about hunting with muskets and the 1st is about 18th century printing presses?

Where did I say the kid was "looking for trouble" ? What Constitution right would he had sacrifice on the alter of freedom by not rolling down his window?

Again how do unions fit into this situation? BTW you can answer this one with "It does not have anything to do with this case, I just wanted to bash them" Perfectly good answers and your Constitution right to do so.

The looking for trouble was to another post.

    Come on dude...

    For the 3rd time now:

I mentioned the public union because taxpayers pay cops, cops pay into the union with that money, the unions funded the reversal of Issue 2, Issue 2 put collective bargaining in place which is fair for both sides. The cops in those unions feel they always deserve more money and refuse to ever take a cut, which translates into their power trip and ego over professionalism, which plays into this video.

Posting a 4th time for Germ just in case he missed the other 3 times on why I brought up public unions:

I'm not saying I would do that, but I do protect everyone's rights. He broke zero laws. If their job is to serve and protect, why does it matter if the cop felt inconvenienced? He should have supported the kid's Constitutional rights, period.

That's a nice opinion and I read that, but it does not answer my question. How does union play into this incident with actual facts? The real answer is you don't know I am guessing, guess what I don't know either. In fact I don't even know if this cop belongs to one. A member on this bored is a cop, and he's not in a union.

Driving is not a right granted by the United States Constitution. It is a privilege. Never did I say the kid broke any laws, but he may of aswell drove through the check point acting drunk he would have got the same attention. I just dont understand why not lower your window the rest of the way?

You might want to check into that further. Issue 2 removed union voting and negotiation rights.

That's true, it is my opinion and that's what a forum is for; discussing and debating opinions yes? It was a minor detail to my post, I think you were highlighting it as if it was my entire argument.

Driving is not a right granted by the US Constitution but I'm pretty sure the 4th amendment is. There is no law that says "someone who gets pulled over must lower their winow all the way down."

Well you're wrong, just trying to figure out why anyone would bring up Union in this indecent, because it has nothing to do with this indecent.

I am still trying to figure out how rolling down a window is not protecting his rights.
