Because, most think that they have to do everything an officer says, and answer every question they throw at them. That's why as soon as 1 person questions their authority, some cops react as this one did.

If that's what police are suppose to be doing then why do the unions want to take more of our tax money (and never willing to take a cut), put up red light and speeding camera traps, and go on power trips like this? Last time I checked, the police work FOR the people; to serve and protect. So with that being said, police need to check themselves and stop trying to regulate people without cause or reason. If the LEO knew what the kid was doing and said the kid was correct, then he simply let his ego take over and not his professionalism. Ego > professionalism = power trip.

    Omg, lol

Be sure when you need help to ask if it's union or not before they come out.

Another one on a power trip. Those is a direct violation of the fourth amendment. And you know it. Or maybe you don't. ;)

I have no problems with them being union or not, I have a problem with the union always thinking they deserve more and more and more and are never willing to take a cut. It's an unsustainable method. That's a big difference from not wanting their help because they are union. Don't put words in my mouth.

I do. And I realize and agree (like Brett) that the officer should have conducted himself with more professionalism, but unfortunately didn't. A very determined kid went looking for trouble and found found it. We can agree to disagree on any civil rights violations, with no hard feelings. Different perspectives are educational :)

I didn't backstroke at all. I live in Ohio and we had Issue 2 (and the Senate Bill 5 voter referendum) so I am very familiar with it. What does Fox News have to do with this? I called you out on your assumption and now you've resorted to personal attacks, good job on proving your ignorance.

I asked you first, what does a UNION have to do with this? Why bring it up? Fox News bashes a union any chance they get for no good reason, just like you did.

What happen with issue two btw?

I think the kid was being a tool and trying to start something he shouldn't have. I also think the cop took things a little too far, then what a professional should. But, I really don't see a reason for the k9 to be used. That being said, people need to know their rights. And I also have a special respect for cops, because I know it would take a special person to do what they do, and I would've probably took things further than the cop in the video did, and I wouldn't be a cop for long cause I'd get sued. Thanks Josh and other officers on here, and military personnel for keeping our country safe and defending it.

See Josh some people think those who run into danger don't deserve the pay they get. Who cares about LEO, Fireman, and other workers who put their lives on the line EVERY night so we can have a good quality of life. Who cares? It's way better for some punk *** kid get get his 15 minutes of fame on youtube, I mean the next guy who does not roll down his window may be hiding a gun, knife or be cracked out. This is not a game people, these LEO's are not out every night trying to take your rights away. They are trying to keep us safe and trying to come home safe second.

This thread amazes me, the lack of respect for 15 mins of fame on youtube.

It got voted down and then the union voted to not take raises for the next three year contract term. I am one of those union members and have not had a raise in the past5 or so years so iI'm not sure what that has to do with any of this.
Just for the record though, has the price of anything in everyday life gone up in the last five years?

First of all, I didn't bash them for "no good reason", I brought it up because the cops that I have talked to, including cops in my familiy, who told me they don't care how high taxes get - they refuse to let their pay go down one red cent. Senate Bill 5 was voted down which was the result. Now you tell me how collective bargaining is not fair for both sides. Collective bargaining means both sides have a say. Without collective bargaining the union negotiators (who always side with the union) can simply work out a new deal without the say of the people, which is simply unsustainable. They don't care that their fellow officers might get laid off because the department can't afford to keep everyone because of budget cuts yet the ones who stay can keep their pay. Less officers means less protecting and serving of the people who pay them. Not all unions work the way a public union does, but in this case it matters - hence I brought it up.

Secondly, I haven't watched Fox News since Hannity and Coles were still on together. I listen to talk radio and go to Drudge.
