On the money right here folks....get over ureselfs and this rights bs....if you think this guy is a freedom fighter and not just a total jerk off then youre out of your mind and probably an a hole....he didnt even fight for anything remember he pussed out.......dont start with the cop bit either...I know he handled it wrong and blah blah blah...the point is the kid didnt stand up for anything at all so the fight for your rights argument is not valid....he needs a hobby is all this is.....I would suggest bow hunting....or perhaps the cowbell.....

So you admit he was wrong, but not wrong enough to bring to light?
Wow. I do believe you're upset because this "punk a***" exposed many of your kind for what you are. And no, I did not say ALL of you. And I love how you stereotype EVERYONE that doesn't agree with you as a gang banger pot heads. Way to look at things objectively, officer. And "don't stand up for your rights"? Sheesh. I guess that would make your job much easier. The movement hasn't even begun yet. Watch what is happening around the world. Freedom lovers are just getting started. 24/7 protection? An officer is there to uphold the law and is in no way required to protect citizens. You all must hate that "new media" and "citizen journalists" continually make it harder for you all to hide behind the badge.

My apologies, Trevor. I'll do my best to be more immature. :)

Well I'm done with this thread. I'm sure some will like to see me go. I hope there's no hard feelings. I can get worked up over this stuff and sometimes my sarcasm doesn't come through well on a forum :) Good night all.

I just don't like putting the blame all on the kid for being a jerk when the cop was too. Difference is, kid has the right to do so. The cop doesn't. It's called being a professional officer, and he is making other cops everywhere look bad with his unprofessional behavior.

I think that sums it up but our police officer is playing with his life and the kid is just entertaining himself at the cops expence.

That cop could be killed at his next traffic stop if hes not on his game while the kid is worries whether or not to super size his order at the drive thru.

If it happen to me somehow it would take a lot, but I would strap my boots on the next day and keep on living my life, somehow I am guessing this kid will survive this horrible assault on his rights, I can only pray for him now;)

I believe you have the "right to be left alone" and that is fundamental core values I have that the Bill of rights gives us. Weather it's Citizen to Citizen, cop to kid, or federal gov to person.

In this situation this kid did NOT want to be left alone. Anyone with half a brain would know where these check points were a week before. So he could have just avoid the checkpoint and been on his marry way with all his rights saved from this terrible ordeal he went through. I do want to thank him, I honestly did not know I could keep my window rolled up.

My two grandfathers, unlike me and most posting here actually fought to protect our freedoms, I know that both of them, would have rolled down their window when ask and not been a big baby about their "rights".
