I'm not a pro at this so keep in mind, my advice may be worth what your paying for it. Draw your bow and have an assistant twist your string about 1/2 turn in the correct direction and hold the twist as you let off. You make sure the fingers remain clear of the cam.

No he's talking about taking the string loose and giving it a twist to "shorten" it back up from the stretch. I don't think you have to twist both the cable and string, I think you can do just the string if you want. It might be a good idea to do both though. But I'm no tech.

Putting twist into your cables is just going to make your draw weight go up. Putting twist in and taking twist out in your string will have minimal length adjustment if that is what you were asking.

Cable is the primary determining force in your axl-to-axl measurement. Also keep in mind bow specs are measured at zero turns (so max poundage). So when setting your bow to spec, always make sure it's set to max.... Putting twists in your string will most likely have an affect on poundage and cam timing - so keep that in mind... If you make an adjustment to one - they all need to be re-checked...

If your peep isn't lining up after all that - may just be that you have to retie the dloop - making sure it's aligning the peep correctly when its pulled back...
