I'm looking to put a string supressor on my Mathews Q2. She's a little old and needs some attention. I was wondering which ones are quality but not too pricey???

I have had two Mean V suppressors. Custom camo dipped to your door for 44 bucks or somthing like that. They work like a charm. www.meanvarchery.com

I picked up a front mount STS that matched the camo pattern of my bow. I knew I needed a suppressor on my bow and I was able to buy it from a local shop. Hard to argue with that, unless of course I had bought it from here. :tu:

If I had a rear threaded hole, I would have probably went with a MeanV. But since Hoyt wasn't into that before they started coming from the factory with a suppressor, I was limited to the ugly front mounts.

I use MeanV2's but any string suppressor with a quality stopper should work well.

I also have MeanV's on several bows. I'm actually sorry the new line of Bowtechs come complete with factory installed suppressors. I like the MeanV look.

I've had six or seven MeanVs on my bows over the last few years... work flawlessly, and I can't imagine shooting a bow that didn't come with a stock supressor without adding one of Dan's.

You can check them out at www.meanvarchery.com

I also agree with Rob; I think they look better than just about anything else out there.
