I was shooting today and the set screws on the string stop rod came loose and cause the bowstring to drive the stop forward. When I reposition it do I put it right up against the string?

That's what I went with. Thanks guys. After looking at some pictures I noticed it had been like that since I got it. Once I fixed it it was silent and so much smoother, go figure. They do a good job.

If it keeps coming loose, then you may need to put some blue lok tite on the screws.
