I purchased some wishbone style silensors for my bow. My question is where is the correct location to put them? If you have a picture of yours to show that would help. Thank you for any and all info

I just put some monkey tail silencers on my bow. I put them right next to the start of the serving and then shot it several times. They moved themselves into the right spot. Th bow started out loud like it was with nothing and got progressively quieter as they scooted into position.

There's really no right or wrong place on the string. The closer to the cams, the less speed you will loose but less dampening. The further out from the cams, better dampening but you will loose a FPS or two. I would shoot until you find a "sweet spot" on your string that you are happy with. I really don't care about speed so my cat whiskers are about 3 1/2" from the axles on a 31" bow. It gets me that very quiet thud sound that we all want when hunting.
