Here's the question first, what is the proper string length?
I have an original Switchback. I bought it in 2006 I believe. No I don't actually remember when :) I can't find any info on the Original SB, just the XT and LD.
I have never replaced the string/cable and want to do it now, but I also want to do it myself. Not because I don't trust the people around me, but because I love it so much I want to start a pro shop after I retire from the Air Force.
I intend to take a job at the local Bass Pro shop to get the experience first.
    Thanks for your time,
    Lee

Thanks, but I haven't found a string specification for it on the Mathews site. It doesn't list a part # or anything like how long it is, etc...

String is 91 3/4 cable is 35 1/2 but with the older Mathews I usually build about 1/2 to 3/8 short and come out with much better results. Good luck!

Sorry about that. I thought it was listed under the 'Specs' tab. Glad you got the info, though!
