Was pulling my bow up and the clip for my pull rope lodged itself in between the cam and the string. I normally clip it to the cam itself but maybe I was rushing. I immediatyl noticed the clip was in between the string and the cam so I literally just touched it to try n pull it out and the string came off the cam causing a serving end bolt to wedge my thumb in between the limb and the bolt. I had to climb down the tree with a bow stuck on my thumb. I would never in a million years think that the string can come off that easily. Thumb was ripped up pretty bad, glued it together and rapped it up. Now I'm out of a bow, order a new cam or buy another bow?? It's a Mathews No Cam HTR thumb.jpg thumbb.jpg

Clean it up and bring it to a bow shop. They can probably put it back on for you.

That sucks, especially this time of year. I'd agree with bow shop and see if they can get it up and running. If you know them well, ask them if they have a loaner while you wait. Never hurts to ask.

On a side note, bonus points for having the gall to snap a photo with your thumb still in the cable!

Call the shop first to make sure they can do the job and to let them know ahead of time your coming in. May be a short wait. They can probably tell you if the equipment is bad also.
