This is for the guys who use or have used string/cable silencers. Do you recommend using them only on your strings or on your strings and cables and do they have any effect on the bow speed? I like the idea of the ones like the monkey tails where you don't have to press your bow to separate the strings to install them but is one better than the other ( functionality ) when it comes to the ones that are installed between the strings/cables compared to one that just goes around the string/cable. I have used limbsavers in the past on my old bow and I felt like it was quieter but I got a new bow and am trying to decide whether or not to buy some and if I do what kind. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I added Pine Ridge Wishbones to my strings and cables - 2 on the string, 1 on each the buss and control cable (probably because they come in a pack of 4). I noticed a noise reduction, but I didn't shot it with only the string silenced. Also, I didn't chronograph before and after. I was willing to trade a little speed for silence.
