I picked up a Browning Rover target bow #30 draw weight. I discovered it has a 4 inch hair line crack on the upper limb just above the riser in the center facing the shooter. it also has a hint of the same crack on the outside of the limb. at first I thought no big deal, but the more I think about it I'm not sure if it is a safety issue or not. any thoughts?

Definitely sounds like a problem. Don't shoot it till it gets checked out

If it is really a stress crack it should not be a problem. Most older trad bows get stress cracks in the outer layer of glass and will not effect the shoot ability of it. Just cosmetic. Take pics and post them.

I have a recurve with the same issue, except the crack is on the outside only. I have just left it as a display piece
