So today I re-started my walks with A.J. on the way back just about parallel to our place the two corn fields between us, out pops a 2 yr old with tight many nubbed close to skull head wear. Then out pops 3 more flat head yearlings. Now I give the above age estimates because they were 20 yards from us and the size difference in height and weight was obvious. What IReally find strange is a single buck ,BTW even though low and tight you could see there was a thick base mass considering velvet, with 3 young doe. This time of year it's buck with buck or a yearling buck with mom. I have to wonder, due to past genetics, if it wasn't a racked doe with some of her and or "orphan" yearnings....I was only really looking at their heads.
