    Hi All:

I have been thinking can you use a 3-D target as a decoy? You could take a couple of field tips and take few warm up shoots before prime timeh. I have a Frankenstein target, my kid stepped on the snout and I unglued it back on with gorilla clue. I could hid it in the slough by the stand when not using it. Will this work or not. I am thinking about doing it only during the rut with lure scents and calling.

    Will it work or not.

It works fine. It's not uncommon to find mine laying on its side in the backyard in November.

Yes you can i set my Glendel out on the edge of some woods and was taking shots at it from a treestand. I left it after I was done, not thinking much about it. Drove passed it the next day and it was destroyed. Pieces were everywhere and there holes in it from where a buck had gored it.

    Try a Montana decoy.
