I used to do everything, until one lazy day I decided to hunt without worrying about showering, washing clothes, keeping clothes outside, smoking, dressing in the cold etc.... Had an unfavorable wind that day, still had 7 deer come in front of my stand 10-30yrds, not a one noticed me. I'm sure a tote will work just fine.

Im a freak about scent control. But, I have yet to be winded from the stand, so I have faith in it.

I say, whatever you feel works the best, do that.

Hunters Specialty Scent Safe Travel Bag. I love it I keep a couple earth scent wafers in it and I never get winded. Totes work great to I used to put leaves in the bottom of my tote. However they are all worthless if you dont properly wash and dry your clothes.

I have a big rubber maid tote I leave in the back of my jeep. I bought some adhesive seel at the hardware store and put it around the edges of the lid. It's probably not completely airtight but it works for me. I also respray everything before I put it back in the tote. I use quite a bit of the spray but for me it's more about wanting to control my scent walking to/from my stand. I have enough stands/blinds where i hunt that i usually have a safe place to hunt reguardless of the wind.
