How do you store your mechanical heads during the off season?

do you even take them off your arrows? (i.e.-have hunting arrrows and practice arrows).

If you're not shooting them I don't see any reason to take them off your arrows. So long as you store them in a dry place so they don't rust you should be alright.

I have four hunting arrows that are tipped with a mix of nap spitfires and they stay in my fixed quiver year round. Every now and then I'll take them out to look the heads over and they are always in proper working order.

I have a tackle box that I keep all my archery odds and ins inside, that way nothing gets lost and its all in one spot.

This is my route. I have 6 arrows that I use. I use field points for my every day shooting and then will put on some mechanical practice tips on to play around just to make sure they're still flying right. Then when it's time to go hunting, get them out of the case and and let'em fly!
A lot of guys have a set of arrows fixed to their mechanicals and that makes sense, however I like to shoot my setups often, not really for any reason other than confidence in it.
