    That is pretty embarrassing!!! Did you or are you going to confront him?

    I went out to my stand yesterday and put a cable and lock on it. If they want it that bad, they'll get it or maybe just destroy it for fun. But it may serve as a deterent...

    Did you personally get to take any game last season?

    Only when your cameras are stolen, you will realize the importance of Long Range and/of Black IR.

    A long range camera allows you mount the camera high to the tree so that people don't look that direction while walking in the forest. Even if they see them, chances are that they don't have a ladder with them or in the car. Most thefts are grabbing by the way.

    So, it's time to move to Long Range game cameras.

    I can't stand a thief!!! Maybe the cam got a pic of him packing the cushion and he was trying to destroy evidence.

    Oh, Google for "SG560-8M", "SG560K-8M", "SG550M-8M", you can find many posts and reviews with pictures from end users.

    A camera has to detect/illuminate at least 20M/67ft to be called Long Range. All the above cameras have this range and even longer. A long range camera has the following advantages:
    1. it covers 2x distance or 4x more area;
    2. It finishes picture taking ebfore other cameras wake up; fast trigger is no logner needed.
    3. It works perfectly fine in cold weather and hot summer;
    4. It does not need IR extenders or three-nose PIR design;
    5. It allows you mount the camera high to avoid theft and spook animals (and save the safety box!);
    6. It serves as excellent security cameras.

    so whats the difference between the scoutgard and the bolygard cams?

    I would like to see one in action. I love my blackflash cams and long range would be nice for my driveway here at the house.
