went to check a camera today just inside a corner of a cornfield and it was gone. corn was just cut, i know the people who have the corn hunt but not on that property but im assuming it was them that took it cuz its just a small chunk of woods that noone else hunts. It just makes me so angry that someone has the nerve to do that. As i type this i keep getting angrier and angrier. Im sure some one you out there know the feeling. Just had to vent.

I had one stolen off my private property and sure I know who did it but can't prove it. It totally sucks.

Yep, it would certainly seem like whoever cut that corn took your cam. That stinks. I HATE a thief! :hater:

Sorry to hear about your loss man. I realize it's a risk everytime we put them out but it doesn't make it any easier to to take. Maybe they'll have a guilty conscience and bring it back.

    Blessings.....Pastorjim

if you know who farms it and you had permission to be there why not just go ask for the cam back? Farmer's go out of there way not to piss people off.. they dont want crop damage or equipment damage so the farmer's i work with are very mellow and easy going, give them a chance, most farmer rent ground and maybe they gave it to the land owner?
just saying go meet them they could be your best friend.

I'd add "be diplomatic about it". I believe that you have nothing to lose if you try that.

we have permission to hunt from the farmer who owns the actual farm but other people who sell sweet corn in town have this one patch of corn on the farm too. I know these guys are hunters and they arent very ethical so it would pretty much be a waste of time to go to these guys but i am going to tell the farmer what happened and maybe he can mention something to the guys about what happened and see what comes out of that. I know for a fact that these guys dont hunt this piece of land becuase it cannot be gun hunted and thats the only hunting they do.
