Well guys it appears as if the recurve I was giving away has been stolen. UPS tracking and a call to UPS says it was delivered. Tony says he hasn't gotten it so it appears to have been stolen from his doorstep. Thats the last time I ever do something like that. I'm disappointed and pissed. The bow was insured but only for in route incidents. The insurance does not cover theft after delivery. I'm hoping one of Tonys neibhors picked it up. If thats not the case I and the intended recipient have been screwed!
UPDATE: I have no one to be pissed at but myself. I must have been very dyslexic the day I mailed it out. I put the wrong name and the wrong address on it!

Damn was this wis_bow_hunter? If so hopefully it was just a family member who has it and he just does not know it yet being on farm.

Yes it was. And I really hope thats the case. I don't mind being out the bow. I was giving it away. I'd just be very, very disappointed if it doesn't end up in the hands of the young lady I sent it for.

Thumbs up man. I hope this is the case. We still need to work on Project Give-Away....I can't have a key member getting sniped by a theft....

I hope you guys figure out exactly what happened. Tony, if there was a mix up with the address, have you contacted you local UPS center? I haven't looked up your profile so I don't know exactly where you live, but I work for UPS, and perhaps if you have any questions about dealing with them on finding out exactly where it was left, I could maybe help you. Let me know.

Yea man that really bites if it was stolen. :hater: Hopefully it's what u may suspect and delivered to the wrong address. UPS should be able to step if for u and get it back from the place they delivered it.

Well the street address is the same. The unit # is not. I sent it to #6. He lives in #16 I guess. I asked him to check with those people. If they don't have it I'm going to contact the police in that town and ask them to look into it since I have the UPS tracking info.

Turns out I screwed up the address and the name! tony is working on a recovery from the folks down the road!
