:D great title eh?? I try to go in pretty clean, I go all through the dirt showers, keep the cloths clean and stored in a tub to keep out odors. Use scent wafers and earth spray. BUT The other day I was getting ready, and at one point stuck my wrist release in my mouth while I had my hands full, and OMG it smelled like a dirty sock from hell  It has been through years of summer 3D tourneys, and countless hunts and I never thought of washing it  It has since been taken apart and laundered ;) just something I seriously overlooked. Rambling!

I use a different one for practice and for hunting for that very reason!

I am planning on getting me a new Scott Silverhorn after season and use my old one for practice/spare. They sure do stink Crick. I spray mine down with Scent Killer and leave it outside to dry. (Can't soak it though or the leather will rot on you.)

I have always said this...a release can be the stinkiest part of your hunting apparel. I always try to wear mine in over a glove so the wrist strap does not stink. Most people don't think about the release as being part of their clothing, but it is.

I do the same - but can imagine like a fabric watch band they can get pretty ripe...

Will make a point of hitting it with some scent killer from now on.

good point. didn't even think of that. I did switch away from the velcro to a leather release for that very reason, but never thought of spraying that down. I even bought wipes for the bow & arrows.
