Blood is gonna be dark by now. Look on ground get down low look leaves, bushes, shrubs, trees. If its a shoulder hit you may not have blood for 50+ yds do your best to remember were she ran. Give it your best shot and don't just go through the motions! Good luck Sent from my ADR6300 using Tapatalk 2
Haven't seen a single sign! Man, I was dreaming about that deer last night! Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2
Surprised u could sleep. I don't think I would've been able to sleep a wink. My mind would've been going a million miles an hour . lol. Nock em down, Drag em out!!
Would have suggested a bottle of peroxide... It will bubble like crazy on blood.. Put it in a spray bottle and just spray around in front of you.. The blood will turn white and start to foam.. Will help with hidden blood trails..
I think the thing to keep in mind is that if you can't find your arrow at the point of impact then you hit her. Sent from my SCH-I500 using Tapatalk
Good Luck redz! Be slow & methodic. Look for hair, blood, and overturned ground from a running deer. Also check for blood a couple feet off the ground on any grass and brush she might have run by.
Where were you hunting last night? I know you said you are in MoCo. I am in Howard and could probably come help look if needed. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
I'm @ Seneca Creek Park off of Route 118 where it crosses the creek. Haven't seen a single sign of blood or anything else. I've searched about a 100 yrd radius from last sighting up to creek. Idk if she crossed creek or not. No tracks on bank though. Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2
Still no arrow? I'm gonna google your location now and see how far it is. I'm not familiar with Seneca Creek. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
Got first blood! A little farther from the stand than I thought. Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2
Thanks! More blood even further out. Not the way they left. Idk if its from the arrow passing through the grass? Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk 2
I double-lunged one last year that ran 70 yards in one direction and then 300 the opposite way. Work methodically and slowly, they are crazy awesome animals. Sent from my HTC One X using Tapatalk 2
