Was thinking about getting my bow. Maybe something else will come out while I'm waiting for Ruger! We'd have ourselves a two for! ;)

P.S., what do you guys do with your arrow? Just rinse and re-use?

That's best part of bowhunting ...picking up that blood soaked arrow an back in the quiver it goes right back to work. I got 3 bloody ones and 2 cleans ones right now!

Not enough blood and too many live trails for the dog.

Something good will happen because of all the hard work you put in. Who knows, maybe next time you go out a big 10 pointer will land in front of your sight pin. The day before I got my first deer I spent a lot of time and energy hiking through hills without a single sighting of any sign. You will get your keeper soon.

Looks like my "still waiting for my first deer" thread has sadly come to an end. I'll have to start a "still waiting for my first recovery" thread! Thank you to everyone for all the help and support along the way. Big thanks to Ruger for coming all the way down here to track! I'm beat after being at it since 6:30 this morning. Good night all!
