I have been shooting to the right and have run out of adjustment on my sight. Would I move my rest? The bow is a Hoyt havoc tech cam and a half.
Give us some more detail on your setup. Poundage, DL, arrow length & spine... It's possible that you are underspined as well.
If you ran out of room on your sight you need to reset center shot and start over. There are a few youtube videos that will help tune your bow using the rest and the nocking point. Here is an easy one that will get you to the point before paper tuning. Bow Basics - Quick Tuning Your Bow - YouTube
The bow is 63lb, the arrows are carbon express maxima hunter 250. Draw length is 29 in . The length is 28 1/4 Also thanks for your help.
Sharky, I had the same problem. My rest was lined up but my sight went all the way right and all the way left(when I switched my spacers around) and for some reason it was right between that - bad idea as I was hitting straight wood and it cost me 2 arrows. anyways I never found an answer to this problem, so I just sold my bow. So just be careful when you start over and make sure you have ample room for your arrows to hit left or right.
Check your spine... I suspect it may be a little weak. Start from scratch with center shot and nock set. Everything should be correct or you are wasting your time. Also check for vane clearance through your rest. Lipstick on the rest will show you if your vanes are hitting... unless you are shooting whisker biscuits. Then make sure you are moving your pins in the direction of the miss. If you miss left, move your pins left...etc... One great trick I use is simply shoot into a target about 6 feet in front of me. Without moving, you should see nothing but nock. If the arrow isn't straight, you're not close enough to being tuned to bother tuning.
