Tried to plant a couple turnip plots this weekend, but its still too dang wet. Hopefully I can finish planting in a couple weeks.

Here is one I did get planted. Buckwheat on the right will get tilled under soon for a fall planting. For being 3 1/2, my son sure does love this. He was a trooper and spent 7 hrs out on the lease with me. It only took him 10 mins to crash on the way home... LOL

I am hoping all the wet weather hasn't messed up our new plots down in Ohio as well. They are mostly on hilltops so hopefully they drained good.

This plot was on one of the tops. It has good drainage. If the rain holds off the rest of the week I should be able to plant or at least prep some plots. I still have around 2-3 acres left to plant by the end of August.

Glad to see the little guy interested in being out in the woods!

Best of luck with the food plots, and the future hunter.

:rock:I like to make ruts on the side of my plots so the water will drain down the side of my plot.
