Hi all, this is my first post, just wanted to share my experience with an an outfit called bowhunters super store. I live in europe and ordered a long bow from them back in June. The bow arrived with the packaging destroyed and both ends of the bow cracked, like someone had dropped it from a height onto concrete on both ends. I contacted bowhunters super store and asked them what I should do, they said I shouldn't return it but send them pictures of the damage and that they would take care of it from their end. I did so with confirmation from the postal service of the condition they had received it in. I contacted them again after not hearing from them for a few weeks, they said that they had a claim in with UPS for the damage and that I would have to wait a while. Every couple of weeks I contacted them to get an update and was always told that it was being processed. Eventually they stopped returning my mails and avoiding my phone calls. After a couple of months of this I eventually got through to the manager Mark who said he would deal with it personally, never heard from him again. 9 months later after being ignored or lied to repeatedly I've no bow and no refund. Avoid these guys like the plague. Worst customer service ever and blatantly ripping people off as far as I can gather from complaints on other bow hunting forums. Thanks for listening. Tony
sorry for your luck, Did you have shipping insurance? Damage in shipping should be covered by the shipper not the store that sent it, I hope you get satisfaction on your new bow.
If its the York County Pennsylvania, Bowhunters Superstore I also had a bad run-in with them. To me, the only thing they're good for is price matching. Bass pro in Harrisburg will match their cheap prices.
I've ordered some things from them also, one item was backordered but I finally got it.Other than that my experience has been good.
I've heard this a lot from them. But then I've heard others say they have had nothing but a great experience. I haven't bought anything from them personally, but plan to int he future. Their prices on shop items are difficult to beat.
Tony, I've ordered a quiver from the bow hunters super store that cost me a total of $40.00 after everything. It didn't quite fit my bow so I had to refund it in which case I paid for the shipping back to them. They sent me a gift certificate that I could ONLY use at their super store online for $20.00! I lost money due to bow hunters super store. However, after ordering the 100 grain Magnus Stinger 4 blade Buzz Cut broadheads...I'm simply amazed, this item is not one of their own so I have no reason to "love" bow hunters superstore becuase of this item. They cheated me out of money, but sounds like they got you WAY worse. Sorry to hear about your loss Tony!
They really think you will buy from them with a 5% discount. I get those emails all the time. They took over Bowhunters Warehouse and if I'm not mistaken the owner is one of the original owners of the BH Warehouse which was a great place. I went up to their grand opening and they had nothing on display. It seemed they jumped the gun on the grand opening. I really don't care for them even though I have had no problems with them.
I'd be absolutely livid about this!! What a crock of ****!!!! If I lived closer to this place I'd make the trip myself to help you out and then give them a piece of my mind. Bunch of scum bags if you ask me. This thread alone Is plenty reason for me to ever think about doing business with them.
I ordered some things september 7 2010, got an email the same day that said they were on backorder and they should be arriving shortly. I havent heard anything since and im still waiting for my items.
I am one of the lucky ones, I have ordered three times from their E-bay site, and have not had any issues at all. My order was shipped fast and I recieved what I ordered.
I just ordered a pack of 12 field points from their ebay store and i hope everything works out well.....my first try it didnt...
