Love me some Steven Rinella. I've read The Scavenger's Guide to Haute Cuisine. Really good read. I need to read some of his other books.
I remember that from a while back. He handled himself very well and it appears the guy was satisfied with his answer.
I'm glad we have educated, well-spoken people, such as him representing our views in the media. This video convinced me to read his books.
I have met Steve a few times. Stand up guy for sure. IMHO, one of if not the best advocates we have right now. He carries himself much better than most. Sent from my soup can and string
Glad to see an educated response to the vegan-ism argument and, in fact, appreciate the asker's respect for Steve. Many of the folks I see that are against hunting do not act that civilized. Something has gone wrong in the world where a difference of opinion means instant confrontation (all of here know the groups that use such tactics). I admire these two for respecting each other's opinions while still cordially disagreeing. It says a lot about the asker that he was willing to read the argument for meat eating if Steve was willing to read his ideas. Respect both of these men a lot.
I remember seeing that awhile back. That is the first time I have heard the radio follow up though. Well done by Steven!
He did great responding to that question. There are too many people that would have flipped out and gotten into an argument with that guy. When hunters get into arguments with people about those things it just looks bad for everyone else.
