Doesn't it say a lot for a team when their coach feels the need to interfere with the game play to keep them in the game?
As a Ravens fan this is hard to admit, but I do like Tomlin. His expressions are priceless especially when he is losing or a call doesn't go his way.
The smile on his face after the play told me all I needed to know about whether it was intentional or not.
I do in no way believe Tomlin purposely interfered with the game. I think he just lost awareness where he was standing.
If he was on the field while a play was in progress, he was wrong. The coincidence that he was watching the jumbotron and stepped out on the field further before jumping back as the runner was coming up, further complicates the coincidence.
it was intentional Why watch jumbo tron when you got the best view in the house....... also from watching the video it appears to me his eyes are looking back over his shoulder toward the play
I know people change over time and do things under stress, but I can tell you this....I played with Mike for two years in college and he is an honest, hardworking, and great guy. I don't see him doing anything like this on purpose. Also, each person reacts to a situation differently so I don't take him laughing as a sign of guilt. Some people laugh when they are stressed, angry, or embarrassed, not necessarily because they are guilty of something. He should issue a statement.
Intentional or not, he's going to get disciplined for it. I'm guessing the NFL will use this as a reason to finally enforce a rule that has existed for a long time
If I could meet anyone in professional sports it would be Mike Tomlin and **** Lebeau. Huge Steelers fan. They both seem so genuine Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2
I'm a huge Tomlin fan. He was with the vikes for a while as there d coordinator. In no way is he a dirty coach. Yeah he screwed up and wasn't where he was supposed to be but to me theres no reason to think anymore then that.
As much time as that man has spent on the sidelines of a football field, there is no way you will convince me that he did not know exactly where he was. It just looks extremely suspicious. Not only was he in the white zone, he was on the field! He knew where he was.
So I am guessing when you played college football you pumped up the team in the locker room by yelling "KILL!!!!!!!"
Love, play, care, dear, best, epic, good, pray, baby, well, pure, glad, luck, mate, glad, hero, kind,........ am I right????
I was watching the NFL network yesterday and even Billick said he thinks that smile was more a sign of embarrassment for what just happened. And he has had his battles with the Steelers and they share no love. I agree Tomlin should have been fined and maybe even penalized, but I still don't think it was a malicious act.
That was almost a football fan's dream comeback win yesterday. If he just stepped a few inches to the right LOL.
