So i was looking for a budget trail cam and came across the stealthcam p12 on amazon. Then i noticed someone was selling them for $3.50 +$5.50 s&h so i jumped all over it and got 4 cams for $40. I looked today and they are still that price. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Lol, when something sounds too good to be true.... Let us know how that works out, I hope it turns out well. Maybe I'll order 1000 of them and resell them for $15 each!
I was ok with doing it because it falls under amazons a to z money back. I actually pay amazon the money first then they will transfer it to the seller after a period of time after delivery to make sure the product gets delivered and is as advertised. If it goes south, i get my money back. The seller cant get my credit card info unless they hack amazon directly. Also this seller has been on amazon for a while now. If they were scamming people, they would have been removed by now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
I actually just found that sellers name by doing a quick google search and people are asking Amazon to look into them for fraudulent activity. Another note: the product ships from AZ and there is a person by the same name in Mesa AZ asking for money to pay her rent on GoFundMe.
If it doesnt work out, i still get my money back from amazon so im not worried. Will keep the post updated though. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Amazon has been having a real problem with companies "just launched" they start up take money from amazon and disappear. You will get your money back, it will be Amazon who deals with the loss. The item will say delivered with a phony tracking number from china and amazon will pay them. You then have to open a case. I tried purchasing an item 3 months ago and went through it. Will take you a while to get a refund but youll get it. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk
Oh no....no no no no no. I just ordered those 1000 cameras yesterday. I thought it was off that they offered expedited delivery scheduled for two days before I even ordered. I was hoping they had invented time travel pre-delivery or something.
ended up filing a claim with amazon. I'm getting my money back and that seller is under investigation with all of their "products" being removed until the investigation is over. It was worth a try. I ended up buying a primos Proof Gen2 01 from a guy a work for $40. Putting it out this weekend.
It was worth a try. If it did work then i would have gotten a decen cam for 9 bucks. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
