Has anyone had any experience with stealth strips for quieting down climbing sticks? I contacted xop and they didn't recommend removing the hardware. Is that any tips of tricks that some of you know in applying them?

I used them on my old Lone Wolf Assault and sticks when I had it. I just removed the hardware and it was never a problem.

I worry about reusing the lock nuts. Plus the newer xop sticks have the hardware that locks the sticks together. I'm not sure those can be removed.

I covered my xop sticks, first set I pulled most of the hardware off and it was a p.i.a. I then just cut around the hardware and it's holding up fine.

I wrapped all my LW sticks in digital camo duct tape. It worked great to deaden the "ping" of the metal if you bumped two of them together.
