Hey guys I have the stealth cam STC-P12 model. It takes 8 AA battery which most of you know. My problem is when I put the batteries in, its like the connection is bad I have to mess with the batteries to get it work. Have any of you guys had this problem before and how did you fix it?

I had an old Bushnell that the batteries had been left in so long that the connections had corroded. I had to scrape the crud off with an x-acto knife to get it working. I don't know if the Coke trick would have worked or not, Coke will eat battery cable corrosion in a car.

You could also try stretching the springs a little to make the batts fit tighter.
