i am having a little trouble keeping my hand steady and placing my pin. i am steady enough that i can shoot around an 8 inch group at 30 yards, although i would say some are farther. when i am at draw the pins just seems to float around the target and i cant get it to stop and hold the center. i shoot semi regularly but this has been a constant thing. i think i need more practice but it doesnt seem to be getting any better. any suggestions??

do you have a strap that goes around where you grip the bow? I have one, and after I draw, i release my grip and open my hand a little bit to help relax my arm. Still brace the bow but let off the clenched grip you naturally have when drawing back. Also sometimes it helps to either take a deep breath or let out a breath when shooting to relax you. Everyone has this problem you just have to learn to adapt to it

A lot of things could be effecting your form. Such as pull weight- it might be to high for you. Let-off, some bows have higher percentages than others. Is the draw length correct for you, this is very inportant! You want to hit a wall at full draw. Do you shoot with a release or use your fingers. Have your bow tuned for you at the local bow shop.
I would start with turning your draw weight down. As you inprove increase the draw weight.
