Hey guys checking in from west central Wisconsin. Sorry it took so long to check in, very busy week. Little bit about me...my name is Travis, I have a wonderful wife that lets me hunt pretty much whenever I want to, three great teenagers...oldest heads to college in about two weeks. I will be hunting mostly public this year, which I have literally tens of thousands of acres to within 30 minutes of my house. I also have about 140 acres of prime private to hunt also. I have two cams out on public, one I will be checking today and the other not until I hunt the spot...probably late October.

Here is the "little" guy... remember this is on high pressure, no crop fields within at least 2 miles and lots of wolves public land.[IMG]

Pretty disappointed with my camera check. I had about 4700 pics from 7/22-8/7 and then then the card was full. The reason for so many pics was a tiny branch had snapped and was dangling in front of the camera. On my quick scan through the photos I had only does, fawns, spike, 3-4 pointer, duck and a young wolf.

I shot my first 3-D shoot this morning. I competed in the Novice division since it was the first time. 20 targets varying from 16-38 yards. Kill shots on all but two. I got tired towards the end. The heat index was 102 by the time I finished. Definitely something I plan to do more of in the future.

    Sweet... I haven't shot a 3-D shoot in about 25 years.

That is awesome. I have been thinking about trying a 3-d shoot sometime looks like a lot of fun.

Good stuff. Shot some 3D this morning then took a deer cruise tonight. Lots of good looking deer running around definitely gets you excited for the season to start.

Thankfully Wisconsin has had two fairly mild winters combined with early green up and great crops should equal bucks at their max antler potential.
