Thanks guys sorry I was busy and trying to post at work lol. With the snow and the really cold weather the deer are back on the food which makes them super easy to pattern. Took my daughter out tonight and had a big ole monster trophy doe at 36 yards or so light was fading she was ready the arrow shaved the hair on her back when it flew over her, she held the 40 yard pin right in the middle. Going to shoot the targets a few shots tomorrow at the same range and see what hold she needs. Tomorrow is the last night for her to try before she has to go back to pa for school.

Is anyone else still hunting? Arkansas's archery runs until the end of February. I did my first sit in over a month last Saturday between Christmas stuff and painfully insuring that we are done with kids, it was my first sit in over a month. My new stand took a while to set up but it was great once I got it done and into it. I am still trying to but down my first doe for the season. For some reason, probably a really hot and dry fall, I have not seen the movement I normally see. Good luck if you are still at it! Have a great off season if you are not.

Wisconsin's statewide archery season ended on the 7th, but there are some metro units that are open until the end of January. I have 5 doe tags for two metro units plus my buck tag so I am hoping to still get out. Closest metro unit is a 1 1/2 hrs away.
