I was looking at a used bow and is presently set up at 70lbs with a 29 inch draw length. I have a bad shoulder and need a bow set at 58 lbs and 30 inch draw. How can I tell if this bow can be reset to these setting? Thanks for your help. JB.

I have a couple of ES's packed up in the garage somewhere. They are great bows. They are adjustable 10 lbs down from peak weight, so you should be able to get it down to 60 lbs ok. Anything more than that and you risk backing the limb bolts out of the riser. You could possible get there by short stringing it too. Draw lengths are changed with modules so you would just need to find the appropriate one (easier said than done). BowTech Shooter on here might have one laying around.

    your bow

Most of, if not all the Bowtech bows are set at like 60 to 70 lbs. So you might be able to turn it down to 62 lbs or so and when it is at full draw with it's let-off you may be able to handle it. I guess it all depends on how bad your shoulder is. I would diffently try that before I forked out any money. Remember you will be loosing fps from the factory fps, each bow is tested at the factory at full draw poundage for that draw length.
