    Since IL challenged WI, or was it visa versa, thought I'd start a thread for the State Vs State.

    Rules:
    1. Throw out the challenge to another state;
    2. Top 5 bucks from each state (by members of this site) are added up;
    3. The buck must be shot in your own state;
    4. State w/highest score wins; and
    5. No Fergie Clause. If a spike or button buck is one of the top 5, his measureable antler(s) is what is counted.

    Good Luck!

    how do cross-border kills score? State A hunter kills buck in State B...does that count for State A guys, or State B top five?

    That'll be a popular sentiment....lol.

    Really? Someone from Iowa comes up with a buck hunting game where state challenges state?

    Whoulda thunk it?

    Since it was the Cheesehead's that put the first challenge out, it would have been them not an Iowan.

    Put yer fear away Jeff, Iowa would never challenge NC 'cause we wouldn't want to totally ruin your idea of what a buck is as NC's state bow record is only 166 3/4.:woot:

    I did notice that you didn't reply to Germ's challenge though! hehehe

    Jeff, I figure many of our Southern states will be challenged. There should be a Mason Dixon Line rule. ;)

    I'd go with that, if you're south of the mason dixon line, only other states below that line can challenge you.

    A buck is something you kill with a bow. I wouldn't expect you to know what it was, IV. You're like the only guy who can't get laid, even though he lives at the Playboy mansion.

    I'm not participating in the contest this year. I actually don't know how much I'll even hunt. But, if anyone hunting with a traditional bow feels froggy, I'll play.

    I'm curious Jeff, why the lack of hunting interest this year?

    PA should have a strong showing IMO. Lots of members from there that put good.bucks on the ground yearly.

    I'm throwing down the gauntlet for all the PA boys and the crazy few outsiders who travel here to hunt for who kills the biggest PA buck.

    I'll join that action and I just put my cameras out. There are a couple of bucks that made it through last year that should be pretty nice this year.

    Ignorance is bliss.....a 166 NET in NC is like killing a 210 NET in Iowa.
