I can't stand his proposal of the 10/10 minimum wage nonsense. There are too many reasons proving that it's not a good idea, the post above is a perfect example. He's unilaterally trying to shut down private/small businesses. The more who work for the government, the more tax money it requires, thus making more people reliant on government to take care of them. It's a nasty communist trick, I just hope people can open their eyes to it. I also had to duct tape my head from exploding when he talked about student loans and how colleges and banks are to blame for student debt...as if NO ONE ever had to work their way through college and as if idiots were FORCED into going to an expensive school. He keeps pointing the finger at the wrong person and wants everyone to feel like a victim, because if he can convince everyone that America and the pursuit of happiness isn't enough to achieve success, then he can make people think his "change" is going to fix it. I couldn't bear watch it. Then there's the GOP, 95% moron, 4% John Boehner's flip flop and tanning juice, and 1% true intellegent patriots who have real solutions.
I ain't the smartest guy on Earth but even I "get it" when it comes to America and what our country was founded on and how we should proceed. 1) Work hard and be nice to people=have a pretty good life. 2) You don't work hard and are not nice to people=go wander out into the woods and keel over. 3) Government, please keep your hands off money. Thanks.
As an owner of a few businesses, I can assure you that this is complete bunk. I know it has been preached and preached by the liberals, but it simply is not true and has no economic basis whatsoever. It takes very little imagination to think beyond the rhetoric of the liberals and see how ineffective a raise on minimum wage is. Even if the raise were to go into effect, it still only equates to a total annual pay of about $21,000. Its basic economics, but the liberals just hate to get involved with actual data. They thrive on generalizations that are slanted to support their agenda. Minimum wage jobs were never meant to be the type of employment to raise a family on.
We have a winner. I think the liberals are intentionally trying to hold these minimum wage people to minimum wage jobs so they don't get educated and vote the other way.
People do not equate business owner as a person these days. They think huge corporations, not a guy like Fletch. It's a huge problem, because most small/family business owners already do the correct things and take care of their people. Small Business != Walmart or McDonalds.
I agree Germ. Libs have been masters at brainwashing their faithful into thinking that "business" is faceless and huge. "Business" is a corrupt, and greedy evil thing that takes advantage of employees. The Affordable Care Act (Obama Care) actually caused us to eliminate a great benefit that we gave employees. They had a Flex spending account that we funded for them every year and it was not a small amount. But now, since we are a small employer that can not afford to offer full medical insurance benefits, we can no longer offer the flex account. New IRS rule thanks to Obama Care. He blamed insurance companies for cancelling policies but would not tell you that they were forced to cancel the policies by his law that was passed without being read. Any plan that did not fall under the ACA guidelines was not eligible for renewal. Insurance companies were threatened with fines if they did renew those plans. But, in great public fanfare.....the POS POTUS throws the insurance companies under the bus as if they had a choice. At the end of the year, I will be forced to take out an Obamacare plan and it will cost me three times as much in premium and have a much higher deductible and huge out of pocket maximum. A lot of the faithful libs are going to scream bloody murder when it actually hits them where it hurts.....in the wallet. We will have to remind them that we are just spreading the wealth. End of rant....sorry.
From 2 Thessalonians 3 But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us. For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you... ... For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.
