I am wondering if we are gonna continue to hear about how George W Bush has run the country. I have a huge problem when someone sells their services, had some setbacks and then cries foul on their inheritance.
I don't agree with everything that O'bama does and generally don't in regards to the left side of the aisle, but I can tell you one thing.....I genuinely wish O'bama luck. I obviously do not wish to him to push forth law that I don't agree with, but I don't wish for him to fail. He is a man. A man with flaws like the rest of us. He does appear to be a good man with his heart in the right place. Even though I don't agree with him on a lot of issues, I can accept him because I really believe he goes for it, or in other words lets it all hang out there in attempts to succeed. I can respect someone like that, and I will.
I was going to play Obama bingo but somebody called me about a youth bowfishing tournament so I had to turn off the volume until just now. Darn.
If he fails (with his agenda)....we win (even a lot of people too stupid to know it)! College basketball is my saving grace in this time slot. I'll read the transcript, tomorrow.
If his AGENDA fails.........................America (as a whole) WINS. Spin that any way you like it.
Some have a true and objective picture of where this country needs to be Flicker. Something you my friend will never see Many of us do not need a financially crippling health care bill filled with special interests and back door deals. We do not need more stimulus money and failed job creation promises. We want to see the health care debate on C-Span as promised and a Congress that will allow bi-partisan negotiating like we had when Clinton was in office
She was killed by the Democratic Party to keep JFK in the clear for infidelity. It was a mass cover up and not a suicide by pills!!!
I too have a great deal of respect for this country, and the man that holds the office of President of the United States of America. I believe with all my heart that each of those that held that office before President Obama did so because they love their country, because it is the crowning jewel to a career, because it is the position to end their political career having lead the greatest country in the world. With President Obama I honestly feel that it is the opposite way, as if he is using the Oval Office as a platform for the rest of his life. That is not to say that other presidents before him have not went of to be very successful after their term(s) as Commander in Chief. They would not have made it to that position without the drive to become successful. However, I think that what we are witnessing is a man that is in that position because he has aspirations that are more important after he leaves office. That being said, I also respect the fact that he is the President of the U.S.A. and that if he fails, so does America. I can tolerate the inconsistency of politics to an extent, but this man takes it to a new level. The ignorance about simple economics, foreign affairs, and the wants and desires of those that he serves. His personal political agenda is more important that what "we the people" want. I do also think that he has been given an extraordinary opportunity, one that only 43 men before him have had. President Obama, I believe has the ability to become one of the truly great presidents of this country, will he? He has been given a year, not a great deal of time I agree, to give us the "Hope" and "Change" that he has promised. He has three years to define his presidency. Now, I "hope" he "changes" and gets information from some of the greatest economic minds in the country to help with this situation. I "hope" he "changes" his tune on Health Care Reform, and I "hope" he "changes" the partisanship that we see in the House and Senate. I guess he has brought "Hope" and "Change"
I still got mixed emotions. I wish him the best of luck and hope everything goes accordingly. I have a hard time putting trust in record that plays the same song over and over, and thinking that it's going to be different the next day. I will say this friends, I'm not a preacher, but none of this is our plan anyways. Let god deal with it. Put your faith in him and we'll pull through anything. Look at the CATS, they lost against SC! Just wasn't meant to be.
