South Korea is number 1, because of Samsung, the companies have to be based in the country. Other factors come in play also. I’ll post later going for prime rib

Concerning all of the statistics and supposed facts that both political parties like to purport and utilize for their agenda's I have always used the axiom "Figures don't lie but Liars figure". Both sides use the most positive spin of any of the economic stats, unemployment stats, etc. etc. etc., while the general public is left trying to decipher an apples and oranges comparison. The way unemployment is calculated does not include disenfranchised workers which quit looking for jobs after a period of time which does not mean they are not unemployed. Obama loved to tout jobs he created such as the ones in the green sector like Solendra and we all know how that turned out, bilking the American taxpayers out of nearly a billion dollars for what turned out to be a non-viable business model. Point is all politicians love to take a victory lap, all of them do it whether R or D or I. "I", in this context does not stand for "independent" but rather what politicians love to talk about most ------ themselves. It gripes me that politicians claim that they can do anything and shows an utter disregard and lack of respect for the people in this country. I am blessed to work in a management capacity but I realize and relay to the workers that their hard work is what allows me to enjoy the job that I have and the job that they have. My responsibility is to provide them a safe, productive environment and guidance and direction toward meeting our goals. They actually do the work, if we are successful it is to their credit. I think that the politicians have lost touch with the fact that government is supposed to be "For the people" not people "For the government". Through all of the twitter rants and name calling and other things that I have disliked about Trump I do believe that he gets that government is not working properly and is trying to help fix some things. I do think it is refreshing that he is not a polished politician and basically says things that he believes and most of the rest of the country believes but does not say it in politically correct ways. At least you know how he feels and not what a focus group tells him he ought to feel. We need more non-politicians in government - I know before I get flamed that the previous statement is an oxy-moron. Rant over.

We are set to borrow double what we did last year.

Over a Trillion, I am sure the conservative budget hawks will be all over this, let me say that again borrow over a Trillion.

My in-laws are great people. All of them are left leaning liberals. All of them would give you the shirt off their back and are all public school teachers. All of them are highly educated and have a great sense of family and loyalty. They walk the walk.

And all of them have a much different reaction to news than I do. Even when things appear black and white, their biases and pre-conceived ideas come to bare when political news is released. They slant and twist the information to meet what they think is right and what they want to think is right. I am sure I do the same.

There is no easy fix to our current divided political climate when highly intelligent people (not me) cannot even be unbiased and review the facts on a political/ideological level and come up with a consensus on what is right or wrong. It simply cannot be done when we label ourselves "liberals", "conservatives", and then try to fit our concept of what is right and wrong into neatly packaged and categorized mental labels.

I would agree with this point- based on the last 30 years, we grow the economy when we have a R-majority congress. Regardless of who's in the Oval Office.

If the market keeps it's free fall, these guys may break that trend;)

It just a correction, it's been coming for months. The market rise was based on feel good and what might be.

“fear gauge,” soared 115% Everyone run around and panic!!! LMAO

"“A lot of the stock market rally has been anticipatory,” he explained on “Countdown to the Closing Bell,” noting how traders bid up stocks in advance of tax reform and other business-friendly policies. Now, Flynn said the markets are asking, “What are you going to do for me next week?”

One must feed the creed monster, more more more

    Love this line
"Econ 101 is that you do not over stimulate an already booming market or you get massive inflation"

Trump would know that if he actually read the Forbes magazines he gets spanked with.

    I"ll "like" this part.

as far as another -300 I'm curious as to what you're basing your prognostications... yes we were due for a correction but unless ol' Billy Mueller drops an indictment based on Clinton-campaign funded lies funneled both through and from a DNC-paid foreign intelligence operative who obtained his information from Russian intelligence agents skilled in disinformation, gave said disinformation to the FBI and then used his own media leaks to validate his paid-for Russian operatives' BS; I think we'll be OK.

The reason for another 300, it’s simple.

Tax cut will cause the government to borrow more money. Investors will pull money from stocks which are higher risk and put it into Treasury Bonds.

Today will be the fear monster, no logic or business reasons. Just irrational panic and non-sense, like what you posted :)

It's going to go down more than 300 today. By the way lets see if Trump releases the Dems memo which basically word for word discredits the Nunes memo. And that was actually vetted by the DOJ. Im thinking he wont.

I think both memo's are just BS, I don't get into the back and fourth our children in congress. I would much prefer they work on balancing the budget.

The Economy is solid right now, this downward slide will end by the week IMO and I am set to dump a pile of cash back into the market. I am not a sell short guy, but I did prepare for this, because like dnoodles said we all knew it was coming. You make the most % of money when there is blood in the water, be a shark;)
