Starting tommorow!!!

Well...tommorow around noon, I am starting my archery church group. I was asked by one of my pastors if i wanted to lead a group. I thought about it and decided to try out a archery group. We are going to meet at the indoor range tommorow and shoot, then have a bible study/devotional afterwards. Tommorow will be more of a meet and great then a bible study, but at least it's going to be a start. If i don't mind me asking...please keep the group in your prayers, that it will go well and work as an outreach program. Thanks all!

I've been thinking of a similar type of thing at my church but with the youth group.Still in the prayer and thought process.

 

That's great man! My dad and I have been part of a sportsman's group that meets at Bowman's Outdoors in MI since it started over a year ago. We watch a devotional video of some sort, discuss the video, read scripture, talk about how the Lord is impacting our lives, and then shoot our bows afterward. We meet every other Saturday and it's awesome.

If you keep the focus right the Lord will bless your group immensely.

Very cool! I've thought about looking into Centershot Ministries, but I've never gotten around to it. Great idea though.
